ExtractMC

ExtractMC is a medieval fantasy minecraft extraction server. 

You enter a large open map, explore different biomes, locations, fight mobs, other players, and search for valuable loot.

The catch is that you have to successfully extract to keep what you find, if you die, you lose what you were carrying.

There's also tiered loot, supply drops, quests, traders and an economy, so the idea is to keep going back into raids, getting better gear and taking bigger risks as you progress.

Over time, more features will be added, such as custom weapons/armour, mob bossess, themed events and items, and more.

Progression is deliberately difficult on ExtractMC.

To get better loot and gear, you must enter raids and take the risk.

You will notice you only have your ender chest for storage too (ranks have access to /vault too, but that also isn't too big). This is to encourage risk taking, and selling loot.

Enchanting is risky because it is inside the raid map.

Custom crafting is difficult to make it harder to obtain stronger gear quickly.

The whole idea around progression is based on risk.
