RF Online Private Server FAQs
What are RF Online private servers?
RF Online private servers are independently operated Rising Force Online servers with their own level caps, rates, equipment progression, race balance and endgame rules. Servers can focus heavily on PvP through faction warfare and Chip Wars, or place more emphasis on PvE through leveling, farming, Pit Bosses and equipment progression. Differences in EXP, drops, mining, upgrades and race balance can make servers with similar level caps play very differently.
What are the Accretia, Bellato and Cora races in RF Online?
RF Online is built around three competing races: Accretia, Bellato and Cora. Accretia are a mechanical race known for heavy weapons and Launcher-based combat, Bellato combine conventional classes with MAUs, and Cora have access to Force-based gameplay and Animus summons. Each race has its own classes, equipment and combat strengths, so race balance is especially important on private servers where faction warfare is a major part of the endgame.
What is Chip War in RF Online?
Chip War is RF Online's large-scale three-faction battle between Accretia, Bellato and Cora. Each race fights to defend its own control chip while attempting to destroy an opposing race's chip. Private servers can change Chip War schedules, rewards, participation rules and race balancing, making it one of the most important systems to compare for players interested in competitive faction PvP.
How do level caps and rates affect RF Online private servers?
The level cap determines how far characters, skills and equipment can progress, while rates control how quickly players reach that content. RF Online servers may configure EXP, drop, mining, PT and Animus rates separately, so a high EXP rate does not necessarily mean that every part of progression is equally fast. Lower-rate servers generally make leveling and farming more important, while high-rate servers can move players toward Chip Wars and endgame PvP much sooner.
What are PT, Skill and Force progression in RF Online?
RF Online uses proficiency systems such as PT, skills and Force alongside normal character leveling. Improving these proficiencies can affect equipment access, combat effectiveness and available abilities. Private servers may increase PT, Skill or Force rates, provide them at high or maximum levels from the start, or keep them as part of normal progression. These settings can substantially change how much preparation is required before a character is ready for endgame content.
How do mining and equipment upgrades work on RF Online private servers?
Mining provides resources that can contribute to the economy and character progression, while equipment upgrades increase the power of weapons and armor. Private servers can change mining rates, ore rewards, upgrade success rates and maximum upgrade levels. Easier upgrades can move players into competitive gear quickly, while stricter upgrade systems make farming, trading and equipment progression more important parts of the server economy.
What is the difference between PvP and PvE RF Online servers?
PvP-focused RF Online servers place greater emphasis on race warfare, Chip Wars, player kills and fast access to competitive equipment. PvE-focused servers give more weight to leveling, farming, Pit Bosses, quests and equipment progression. Most RF Online servers contain both styles, but their rates, level cap and reward systems can make either faction PvP or PvE progression the main focus.
