What are Rappelz private servers?
Rappelz private servers are independently operated servers based on different Epics of Rappelz with their own rates, level caps, classes, pet systems, dungeons and PvP settings. Servers can range from older releases such as 6.0 and 8.1 to later Epics such as 9.6 and 9.10. Some focus more heavily on PvE progression, while others emphasize PvP and guild competition.
Which Rappelz Epic should I choose?
The Epic identifies the general content era used by a Rappelz server. Earlier releases such as 6.0 and 8.1 provide an older style of progression, while 9.1, 9.5, 9.6 and 9.10 represent later stages of the game with additional content and systems. Private servers can also combine content from multiple Epics or add custom features, so the Epic should be considered together with the server's classes, pets, rates and progression.
How does the pet system work on Rappelz private servers?
Pets are a central part of Rappelz and can fight alongside characters, level up and develop their own skills. Private servers can change taming rates, pet availability, evolution, leveling speed and the strength or rarity of different creatures. Some servers stay close to the original pet progression, while others add custom pets or make rare creatures easier to obtain, so the pet system can have a major effect on both character progression and server balance.
What is the difference between PvE and PvP Rappelz servers?
PvE-focused Rappelz servers place more emphasis on leveling, pet progression, farming, dungeons and bosses. Many Rappelz servers support both styles, with PvE progression providing the equipment, pets and character strength used later in PvP.
How do rates affect Rappelz private servers?
Rappelz private servers can modify EXP, Job Point, drop and pet progression rates separately. Higher EXP rates reduce the time required to level a character, while increased Job Point rates can speed up skill and class development. Drop and taming settings can affect equipment and pet progression independently, so two servers with similar character EXP rates can still have very different overall progression speeds.
How do classes and Master Classes differ between Rappelz servers?
Rappelz character progression includes class advancement, and later Epics can provide additional class stages and Master Class progression.
